It really looks like somebody did a very good translation, but then it was tweaked again by a non-English speaker and the tweaks were never proofread or retranslated again. It's not perfect and still lacks style, but it's mostly good. Writing: 4/5 - The writing improved over Ch1. The story starts to shift focus from femdom to male domination and as a result, the MC becomes more of an asshole and the logic of the story starts to become even more contrived. Story: 3/5 - The story continues from Chapter 1, but now the MC is scheming to become the person that gets to punish all of the others. Review for Cure My Addiction Chapter 2: The Disciplinarian: That's a shame since the game would be much more valuable in it's completed state with GUI and coding improvements that wouldn't change the renders and animations where most of the development time is spent. It seems like the developer had a mindset of only moving forward with backward-compatibiliy and new-content quality improvements being a priority for players during development, but going back and improving the overall experience for new players was completely ignored. The Renpy autosave feature that saved me many times in Ch2 is disabled in the Ch3. The bugs in Ch3 events are much worse than previous chapters including sequencing bugs as well as bugs with simultaneous events. It looks like the developer got fixated on making the user interface more trendy/modern/flashy and it completely backfired. During the course of the development of Ch3, the user interface changed twice. The user interface became more tedious to use and became buggy. Gameplay 2/5: Unfortunately, the game took a big step backwards in gameplay from Ch2. If it had more good animations, it would be 5-star. There's a lot of it and it keeps getting hotter. What mostly changed in Ch3 is gameplay and content.Ĭontent 4.5/5: The content is approaching top tier in quantity and quality. The writing, renders, and animations in Ch3 really changed from Ch2. Review for Cure My Addiction Chapter 3: The Ordeal: The one thing that sticks out for Ch4 compared to Ch3 is that the writing/translation, is much worse. Review for Cure My Addiction Chapter 4: The Ordeal: If you're not into those fetishes, you'll probably want to skip it because there's not much else in the game. Summary: If you like spanking, female domination, male domination, and BDSM fetishes, and you don't hate sandbox games, you'll probably like this game. Review for Cure My Addiction chapters 1-4: Thank you, and 5 stars are not enough I would give it 10 out of 10! There are so many good games, but especially so many bad ones that the existence of CMA is a breath of happiness.
When you get into it, you really get into it. I read the comments, and the 1 or 2-star ratings are very poorly justified, except for subjective and personal opinions. I can't see why or how someone could not like the game. What a joy to have a complete game! It's hours and hours, days and days of gameplay, and every time it brings pleasure the author's mission is accomplished. I adore Rachel, but all the models are top-notch they are all beautiful, and the scenes and camera angles in the game are very well done, showcasing them perfectly. In that aspect, I find the gameplay perfect. The gameplay is excellent, and I like going back and forth, having the feeling of playing the game in the order I want with the girls I want. Those are the two minor drawbacks the rest I find perfect. The character of the MC is decent at first, but the more you progress, the more difficult it becomes to defend him, psychologically speaking. I easily fall in love with all of them, they are different, have genuine tastes, and truly contribute something to the life of the MC. The only thing that bothers me is the treatment of Amy, what she becomes, and her sudden silence, but other than that, on everything else, the girls are very, very, very endearing. CMA is in my top 5! I've been searching for a sandbox of this level for a long time, and I've been so disappointed that when I played CMA 1 and 2, I had stars in my eyes, so I'm placing them here I adore this game, and yet I don't like BDSM, but it would be foolish to reduce it to just that.
